What problem the PURAMAX 2 is meant to solve

Automatic litter boxes reduce manual scooping by separating waste after a cat leaves the enclosure. The merchant identifies the PETKIT PURAMAX 2 as a connected litter-box option; confirm the exact model, included accessories, current stock, and manufacturer specifications on the live product page before purchasing.

Safety comes before convenience

  1. Confirm the minimum cat weight and whether kittens, frail cats, or senior cats are eligible.
  2. Check what sensors interrupt a cycle when a cat enters, approaches, or remains inside.
  3. Keep automatic cycling disabled until your cat comfortably enters and exits.
  4. Place the unit on a stable, level surface away from children and other pets.
  5. Never assume a manufacturer safety claim replaces supervision during the adjustment period.

App features, subscriptions, and real ownership costs

Before checkout, confirm which functions work without an account or internet connection, whether notifications require an app, and whether any optional subscription applies. Add waste bags, compatible litter, replacement parts, electricity, cleaning time, and return shipping to the real ownership cost.

Who should consider it?

GOOD FIT

You want less daily scooping

Your adult cat fits the verified manufacturer limits and your home has suitable floor space, power, and a stable setup.

WAIT OR LOOK ELSEWHERE

Safety, fit, or availability remains unclear

Do not buy until the merchant confirms current stock, your cat’s eligibility, the return process, and the exact model configuration.
